ICC has five Saturday and two Sunday senior teams.
Our senior sides are selected from a range of different players with diverse cricketing skills and capabilities. Our thriving colts section feeds new players as they progress through the colts age groups. We are proud of our home grown philosophy reflecting the fact that we are not just a cricket club but an entire community that looks after our new young blood as well as those who are more established in the game.
We are always open to senior members from outside the club. Players moving in to the area or just looking for a change of scene are welcome to come and talk to us. Of course we would welcome anyone who is talented enough to make our 1st XI but we have an active recruitment policy right through our senior sides.
We are in our fourth season cementing ladies cricket on the Ickenham agenda. The ladies play regular cricket in the North London Womens Cricket League.
An important facet is the integration of training with our girl's squads. This is an exciting development for the club and great news for all girls and ladies who want to take up the game.
We are always open to new senior ladies members from outside the club. Players moving in to the area or just looking for a change of scene are welcome to come and talk to us.
With a colts membership of around 300, we coach boys and girls of all age groups in either our foundation programme or as representatives of the club in one of our many aged group squads. With 27 UKCC Level 1, 2 and 3 coaches in 2012 we have a strong coaching team all of whom are appropriately CRB checked and have attended Child Protection and Life Saving courses.
The colts season runs from the end of April through to the end of July, with many activities continuing throughout the school summer holiday and over the winter.
At Ickenham we not only play cricket. We also have a thriving social life that some regard as important as the cricket itself!
A focal point is the clubhouse bar. Serving a whole range of draught beers (Fullers London Pride; Guiness; Carling; Stella etc) and an 'international' range of bottled beers, wines and spirits.
